Brand Manager UK

Are you hands-on, proactive, and ready to help drive the biggest food revolution of our time? Do you believe delicious food can change the world? Then we’re looking for you! As Brand Manager UK for Vivera & The Vegetarian Butcher, you will join our marketing team and play a key role in building two exciting plant-based brands in the UK that will inspire more people to choose plant-based meat.

Your role

As our UK Brand Manager, you will be strengthening two exciting brands in a dynamic category. You will work closely with the UK Sales team and the central Marketing team.

  • Growing penetration: you are obsessed with the question ‘how do we convince more people to try plant-based meat?’ and will translate central brand strategy into concrete local plans to drive trial.
  • Portfolio management: you build a deep understanding of UK retail market, identify portfolio opportunities and create local business cases as well as coordinating packaging and artwork development, ensuring brand consistency and local relevance.
  • Activations & campaigns: you will lead impactful in-store activations, create strong POSM items and collaborate closely with sales and category management to prepare retailer meetings. You can use your creativity to identify and leverage PR opportunities to increase brand visibility. Also, you understand how to create thumb-stopping content on socials.

Who we are looking for

You are an energetic marketer with a strong sense of ownership, a love for food, and a commercial mindset. You combine creativity with analytical thinking and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • 3+ years of experience in brand management in UK market, preferably in FMCG. You know the dishes British people love and the cultural moments that are driving conversation.
  • Fluency in English
  • Foodie at heart: in on all the latest food trends and developments, you love to cook and to enjoy plant-based food.
  • Combining Logic & Magic: you make data-driven decisions but also know the importance of emotion to change consumer behaviour. You can balance strategic thinking with a pragmatic ‘roll up your sleeves’ mentality. 
  • Strong project management skills: you work in a structured way and can manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once.
  • Independent and a team player: you are comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously. At the same time, you thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills: you work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. 

This is what you’ll get

Based in the UK? You will work primarily from home. We meet with the UK team in person once a month, either in the UK or the Netherlands. You will also be part of a larger marketing team that meets once a month in the Netherlands.

Based in the Netherlands? You can work from our office in the city centre of Utrecht.
